Connects the Macintosh computer to any MIDI-equipped musical instrument. Requiring no power, the MIDI interface plugs in to the Macintosh serial port and includes two cables to plug into the MIDI In and MIDI Out jacks of a chain of MIDI instruments. MIDI is an industry-standard protocol for musical data that is supported by keyboards, synthesizers, and Macintosh applications programs.
